Unless your parents list you as a driver on the rental agreement, don’t tempt fate by driving because you will NOT be covered on insurance. And it they do list you as a driver, the cost for the rental will probably increase a LOT.

I agree with Lois. Time to let him know you do not want to converse, period. If he rides the bus that often, he clearly has had time to observe customary/acceptable behaviors among riders. He is not mentally challenged, so he knows what he’s doing. He is a CREEP. In addition to not speaking with him, try, if possible, to sit as close to the driver as possible, so he can hear your verbal command to stop talking to you.
